Galaxy Express 999 (яп.: 銀河鉄道999 Гiнга Тэцудо: 999?) — манга Лэйдзi Мацумото і некaлькi анімэ-адаптацый.

Сюжэт

Арыгінальны сюжэт распавядае пра Тэцуро, хлопчыка, які, жадаючы здабыць механізаванае цела, падарожнічае па галактыцы, сустракаючы на сваім шляху розных думаючых істот.

Персанажы

• Хосiно Тэцуро — хлопчык, які хоча атрымаць мехацела для таго, каб жыць вечна і адпомсціць графу Меха за смерць маці. З гэтай мэтай адправіўся ў падарожжа на планету, дзе яму бясплатна дадуць мехацела.

• Мэйтэл — прыгожая жанчына са светлымі валасамі. Суправаджае Тэцуро ў паездцы на Андрамеду па чыім-та ўказанню.

• Праваднік — праваднік галактычнага экспрэса 999. Нізкі, злёгку паўнаваты іншапланецянін, заўсёды апрануты ў сінюю форму Галактычнай Чыгункі (без яе нябачны). Імкнецца строга прытрымлівацца статуту Галактычнай Чыгункі, што не заўсёды атрымліваецца. Некалькі пужлiвы.
